About the Experience Design Co-Op

This paid co-op opportunity is ideal for motivated students looking to apply classroom learning to real-world design challenges. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced designers on research and design projects that support our technology products.

Location: Remote (USA) with occasional travel to Johnston, RI

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and product owners to create compelling design solutions.
• Utilize and contribute to our design system for consistency and efficiency.
• Develop user journeys, storyboards, task flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Track and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you must:

• Be enrolled full-time in a 4-year accredited undergraduate or graduate design-related degree program during Fall 2025.
• Be available to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) for 6 months (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM EST).

Preferred Experience & Skills

Technical Skills:

• User interface (UI) design and user experience (UX) design
• User research and usability testing
• Design systems and component libraries
• Figma (or other design/prototyping tools)

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• High attention to detail
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Compensation: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour (based on location, education, skills, and experience)
