Ogenus Offshore provides specialized manpower solutions to the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors, with a presence in both Greece and the UK. We are currently seeking a freelance WordPress Web Designer & Developer to redesign and enhance our website, ensuring it aligns with our new branding and improves the user experience.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced freelance WordPress Web Designer & Developer to take our existing website to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the design and development of the site, working closely with us to ensure the website is modern, functional, and visually appealing while optimizing user experience. This role requires a strong background in WordPress, UI/UX design, and web development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Redesign the current WordPress website to align with our updated branding and business goals.
• Create a responsive, user-friendly design that works across all devices and browsers.
• Develop and implement new features and functionalities (e.g., contact forms, portfolios, service pages).
• Optimize the website’s SEO and performance for better search engine rankings and loading times.
• Ensure the website is easy to navigate and that content is easily manageable via WordPress.
• Collaborate with the Ogenus Offshore team to understand our needs and translate them into web solutions.
• Provide ongoing support for bug fixes, maintenance, and updates after the redesign.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in WordPress website design and development.
• Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Expertise in WordPress theme and plugin customization.
• Experience in responsive web design and mobile optimization.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles.
• Experience with SEO and website performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Availability to meet project deadlines and communicate regularly via email, video calls, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the oil, gas, or renewable energy sectors.
• Familiarity with website security and best practices.
• Experience with website analytics and performance tools.

Contract Details:

• This is a freelance position with a flexible work schedule.
• Compensation will be agreed upon based on experience and project scope.
