Our Product Team is at the heart of this mission, developing our leading end-to-end AI governance platform. As a Senior Product/UI Designer, you will simplify the complex work of our customers by designing intuitive governance workflows that help them manage AI risks, ensure legal compliance, and focus on innovation. You will play a key role in shaping our product vision and translating it into highly functional, user-friendly features and use experiences.

This role can be located in Finland or other EU countries.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Product/UI Designer to help us design exceptional user interfaces for both desktop and mobile experiences. As part of our fast-paced startup, you will play a crucial role in managing and evolving a complex design system, creating scalable components, and collaborating closely with our development team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using Figma, building UI components from scratch for Tailwind CSS, and documenting UI and UX behaviours. You should be comfortable handling ambiguity and complexity while maintaining a sharp eye for detail.

What you’ll do:

• Design intuitive, highly detailed and visually beautiful interfaces for Saidot’s AI governance platform, making complex processes easy to navigate.
• Simplify AI governance workflows to help enterprises manage AI risks and meet legal obligations effortlessly.
• Use data and user feedback to validate design decisions, iterating based on user behaviour, A/B testing, and performance metrics to ensure designs meet user needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with AI governance experts, developers, and product managers to turn ideas into clear concepts and high-fidelity designs.
• Develop and maintain a strong design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
• Document UI and UX behaviours clearly and comprehensively, creating guidelines that developers and other team members can easily follow.
• Collaborate closely with developers during handovers, ensuring the design is implemented accurately and efficiently while providing ongoing support for design queries.
• In our dynamic startup and AI governance environment, take the initiative and fill in gaps when challenges arise, adapting to new requirements and changing priorities.

How to be successful in this role:

• You have 4+ years of experience in UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing detailed desktop and mobile UI work.
• You have expertise in working in Figma, with a deep understanding of prototyping and components. You are proficient in creating UI for Tailwind CSS.
• You're a skilled communicator who involves team members, explains design choices, and adapts based on feedback.
• You understand design systems and component-based UI design, ensuring scalability and consistency.
• You excel at breaking down complex workflows into clear, highly usable, and beautiful designs.
• You are comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams in a remote-first environment.
• You’re proactive in engaging with users and our AI governance experts, gathering feedback, and iterating designs based on real-world needs.
• You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, adapting quickly in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve.
• You’re eager to shape the future of responsible AI experience and drive design excellence in a fast-moving market.
