The Role

We're seeking a Graphic Designer who thrives on creating bold, viral, and culturally relevant designs for our political and podcast-related eCommerce brands. This role is perfect for a designer who keeps up with news cycles, trends, and internet culture, transforming timely topics into high-impact merchandise that resonates with our audience.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Leadership

• Design eye-catching apparel and merchandise that aligns with cultural and political trends
• Stay on top of breaking news, viral moments, and social trends to create fast-turnaround designs
• Collaborate with our marketing and eCommerce teams to ensure designs are optimized for engagement and conversions
• Ensure all creative aligns with brand messaging and quality standards

Hands-On Production

• Create print-ready files for screen printing, DTG, and embroidery
• Develop T-shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, and other branded merchandise that sells
• Work with vendors to ensure production accuracy and quality control
• Adapt designs for different formats and product types

Trend & Performance Optimization

• Monitor sales performance and iterate on top-selling designs
• Conduct research on competitor merchandise and identify emerging design trends
• Test different creative styles to optimize for engagement and sales

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in apparel or merchandise design
• Strong portfolio showcasing apparel and merchandise (political or cultural themes a plus)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (or similar tools)
• Understanding of print design best practices (screen printing, DTG, embroidery)
• Ability to execute high-quality, fast-turnaround designs based on current trends
• Passion for politics, culture, and creating conversation-starting merch

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Print design and production
• File preparation for various printing methods
• Typography and layout design
• Vector illustration
• Color theory and color separation for printing
