Our client's Content Designers create simple, human-centered experiences by approaching design through the lens of language. We use our expertise in user experience design, design thinking, and product strategy to craft intuitive products and services used by billions worldwide.

As a member of our client's team, you’ll work closely with a team of Content Designers to drive innovation in virtual and augmented reality spaces. In this role within our Design team, you will support a newly established product group shaping the future of in-house VR products. You will be responsible for designing consumer experiences across multiple devices.

Partnering with cross-functional teams, you’ll define, align, and execute high-quality, engaging experiences. Your work will involve designing and delivering product flows, new features, in-product language, content frameworks, navigation, product naming, and more across mobile, desktop, and AR/VR platforms.

As a Content Designer, you will navigate ambiguity, think strategically, and contribute to high-level initiatives and road mapping. Our team prioritizes action, high-quality execution, and collaboration to define key user journeys and enhance our suite of VR tools. This role requires deep content design expertise, ownership of product spaces, and strategic influence as we redefine the future of work and social experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, edit, and test clear, compelling in-product language to enhance user experience. This includes product flows, UI copy, educational materials, product names, navigation nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies, and other content across our client's products.
• Apply systems thinking to products, whether defining extensible design system guidance, auditing existing experiences, or creating information architecture.
• Use knowledge of code and software to review UI language implementation and create logic for personalized user experiences.
• Provide and solicit UX feedback to build the best possible products.
• Contribute to high-fidelity design mocks using Figma.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science teams to take products from concept to launch.
• Partner with internationalization teams to ensure global product quality.
• Exercise sound judgment to shape product narratives, team direction, and strategy.
• Identify and lead cross-team projects independently.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in UX writing or content design.
• Proven ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas to broad audiences.
• Experience co-authoring wireframes or design mocks in design tools to influence decision-making.
• Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale.
• Experience working in design systems and systems thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects with minimal direction and navigate ambiguity.
