Through Joii, pet mums and dads can video call a vet 24/7, use an intelligent pet symptom checker (think NHS 111 but for pets), or seek preventative care through nurse clinics. And yes - it can all be done from the comfort of home - drastically reducing the need for in-person vet trips.

Role Summary:
We're seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our team and drive the design vision for our products. In this role, you'll lead the design team driving strategic design initiatives, fostering innovation, and ensuring our products deliver exceptional user experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with the Product team to drive long-term growth of products and features through data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation
- Lead the design strategy and execution for key product initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders) to deliver user-centered design solutions
- Mentor and manage a team of product designers, providing mentorship, guidance and feedback
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new product features
- Ensure design consistency across all products by maintaining design systems and guidelines
- Influence strategy and roadmaps through data and insights to understand trends in user behaviour and product usage
- Maximise the team's impact through a test, learn, and iterate design process
Knowledge/Experience required:
- Proven experience as a UX/UI designer with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in design tool
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with mobile app design (required) and growth-oriented work (ideal)
- Experience leading a design team and managing Product Designers
- Advanced visual design and prototyping skills
- User research and data analysis expertise
- Knowledge of UX/UI trends and best practices
- Ability to balance business objectives with user needs
- Experience in facilitating design workshops and critiques
