Why join us?

At Trismik, we’re a team of tech geeks from Cambridge University, Salesforce, and Amazon. With over 38 years of research behind us, we’re not just building tools - we’re sparking an AI revolution. Our mission is to push AI’s boundaries while keeping it a trusted partner for humanity. If you’re ambitious and ready to make a monumental impact, join us on this thrilling journey.

Role

We are developing adversarial tests for Large Language Models (LLMs). Our goal is to provide the fastest and most accurate testing environment to maximise value for AI engineers deploying AI applications using LLMs. We do this to help companies and researchers to push forward the SoTA in Artificial Intelligence and to achieve the best possible chance of a human-aligned AGI. We are looking for an experienced and proven full-stack software engineer to lead on the software development of our SaaS platform. We are open to hire in the UK and in the EU.

As one of our first hires this is a high-impact and high-ownership role. You will help design the architecture of our product and you will have a strong say in how our technical and product roadmap evolves.

Key job responsibilities

As one of our first hires, you will work closely with the CTO, and you will be responsible for setting a high bar throughout the software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and application development, AWS technologies, business judgement, curiosity, and superior written and verbal communication skills. Your duties will include:

  • Build and own critical infrastructure for powering AI innovation.
  • Build and own our web platform, including our website and our APIs and services that enable AI insights.
  • Work closely with AI researchers and our business team to transform innovative ideas into a production system.
  • Lead technical design discussions and drive continuous improvements in system and process.
  • Ensure our platform meets security and performance standards
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code following best practices.
  • Contribute to technical roadmap and strategic planning.

You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative while paying careful attention to detail and will enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience (3 years+) in professional software development as a full-stack engineer.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of: Python, SQL, Angular, Git, AWS, Docker.
  • Strong English proficiency.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of: Java/Kotlin, MariaDB, any machine learning framework (Torch, huggingface, …)
  • Experience in system architecture design
  • Experience in CI/CD
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile software development
  • HTML/CSS
