Part-Time Junior Brand Designer

We’re Looking for a Junior Designer to Join Our Team

Thoroughfare is a small but intentional full-service branding and website studio, creating thoughtful, timeless brands for home, lifestyle, and wellness businesses. Our work is personal, refined, and rooted in connection, and we want someone who understands our approach and design aesthetic.

We’re looking for a Junior Designer to support us in bringing these brands to life. This is a part-time, remote role (about 10 hours per week to start) for someone who loves branding and design, has a strong eye for typography and layout, and can work within our specific aesthetic.What You’d Be Doing

• Designing brand collateral (packaging, marketing materials, social graphics)
• Putting together brand presentations & mockups
• Preparing final brand files & style guides
• Supporting the design process by refining layouts, concepts, and assets based on Lead Brand Designer and Client feedback.
• Potentially, in the future, assisting with website layouts and working alongside our website developer.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong sense of typography, layout, and brand design
• Detail-oriented and able to work within an established aesthetic
• Comfortable taking creative direction and refining designs
• Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Familiar with working in dieline templates for packaging materialsCompensation:

This will be discussed further, but we will have this set as a monthly retainer for payment and not charged hourly or per project.
