User Experience Designer

Role: Visual / UX Designer

Pay Rate: up to $35/hour DOE

Our consulting firm client needs a Visual / UX Designer to join their team for an ongoing project, 40 hour/week fully remote. Strong possibility to convert to FTE for the right fit.

In this exciting opportunity, the Visual / UX Designer will work with cross-functional teams to design web and mobile interfaces, marketing assets, and more for the consulting firm's Fortune 500 clients.

The Visual / UX Designer's responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications

- Align UX designs with frameworks like Microsoft Power Apps, React, and SAP Fiori to streamline development efforts

- Conduct usability testing to refine and optimize designs for seamless user experiences

- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, brainstorm ideas, define project goals, and document findings

- Create visually appealing and engaging designs for digital marketing materials, including social media graphics, website banners, email templates, infographics, and display ads

- Communicate design rationale and ideas clearly to non-design stakeholders

Required skills / qualifications for the ideal Visual / UX Designer candidate:

- BA in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

- Strong portfolio that demonstrates proven experience in in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications

- Figma, Adobe Creative Suite

- Excellent communicator and collaborator, with the ability to present and defend design decisions

- Proven ability to work quickly and decisively in fast-paced environments

- Bonus skills: HTML / CSS, experience in the software or consulting services space
