Expected Results
- Collaborate with the sales and production teams to produce bespoke CAD models that meet client requirements and uphold manufacturing standards.
- Contribute to the optimisation of workflows to ensure efficient design and production schedules for bespoke designs.
- Maintain a high level of CAD design precision and quality, aligning with brand values and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily as a CAD Designer, focusing on bespoke and modified collection briefs, ensuring designs meet technical and aesthetic standards
- Collaborate on project-focused work, contributing specialist technical knowledge to the 3D Design team
- Create and render CAD files, maintain a comprehensive database of designs, and produce technical specifications to support manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with the Jewellery Design team and other departments to create exceptional designs that align with company values and policies
- Achieve a high conversion rate of designs into sales, leveraging design expertise and customer insights
Job Requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong knowledge of jewellery CAD software, specifically Matrix Gold and Rhino.
- 2+ years of previous experience in jewellery brands and CAD environments.
- University Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (3D Design, Jewellery Design, Product Design, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of jewellery-making techniques (e.g., stone setting, casting, soldering, etc.).
- Passion for the arts, excellence, and beauty.
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Devotion to continuous learning and improvement.
- Excellent and confident designer with technical prowess.
