Job Summary
Swissport is the world’s leading aviation services provider, delivering innovative solutions to airlines and airports globally. We are seeking a talented and creative Global Graphic Designer to bring our brand narratives to life through engaging and impactful visuals. This role will work closely with our Commercial Copywriter to create cohesive and compelling content.
As a Global Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for translating complex commercial information and brand messaging into visually appealing and easily digestible formats. You will play a crucial role in our storytelling by enhancing the impact of our marketing materials and strengthening our brand presence. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, from infographics and data visualisations to presentations and marketing collateral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Copywriter to develop visual concepts that complement and enhance written content.
- Create a wide range of visual materials, including infographics, data visualizations, illustrations, presentations, marketing collateral, and other sales support materials.
- Ensure all visual content is consistent with brand guidelines and maintains a high level of visual quality.
- Translate complex data and information into clear, concise, and engaging visuals.
- Work closely with other designers, content creators, and commercial colleagues to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactively explore new visual trends and techniques to keep our content fresh and engaging.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven ability to create visually compelling and effective designs in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience in creating infographics, data visualisations, and other visual marketing materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to translate complex information into engaging visuals.
- Experience working within brand guidelines and maintaining brand consistency.
- Experience in a B2B environment, ideally within a related sector.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience within the aviation industry.
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing software.
