SwiftLaunch, a rapidly growing e-commerce fulfillment agency based in Manchester, is seeking a dedicated E-Commerce Account Manager to join our operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple client accounts across TikTok Shop and eBay platforms, directly impacting client success and business growth.

As an E-Commerce Account Manager at SwiftLaunch, you will take full operational ownership of assigned client accounts, managing all aspects of their e-commerce presence from product listing creation to order fulfillment and customer service excellence. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and client communication skills directly determine success.

Core Responsibilities:

Your primary accountability involves managing the complete operational cycle for multiple e-commerce accounts simultaneously. This encompasses creating and optimizing product listings with compelling descriptions, competitive pricing strategies, and high-quality imagery that drives conversion. You will monitor inventory levels across suppliers, coordinate restocking to prevent stockouts, and identify new product opportunities that align with market trends and client objectives.

Order fulfillment requires meticulous attention to platform requirements and customer expectations. You will process incoming orders, coordinate with suppliers for timely dispatch, upload tracking information to maintain account health metrics, and proactively address any shipping delays or issues before they impact customer satisfaction or seller ratings.

Customer service excellence forms the foundation of account health and long-term success. You will respond to customer inquiries within platform-required timeframes, resolve complaints with diplomacy and efficiency, process returns and refunds according to policies, and maintain communication standards that generate positive reviews and repeat business.

Platform compliance and account health monitoring represent critical ongoing responsibilities. You will ensure all listings comply with TikTok Shop and eBay policies, maintain seller performance metrics above platform thresholds, address any policy warnings or account issues immediately, and stay current with platform policy changes that affect operations.

Performance analysis and strategic recommendations distinguish exceptional account managers from adequate ones. You will compile weekly performance reports for clients detailing revenue, order volume, top-performing products, and growth opportunities. Your analysis will identify underperforming listings requiring optimization, recommend pricing adjustments based on competitive analysis, and suggest product expansion opportunities that align with market demand.

For TikTok Shop accounts specifically, content creation and engagement form essential components of success. You will create or coordinate product demonstration videos, respond to comments on content to drive engagement, and leverage trending sounds and formats to maximize product visibility.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate possesses demonstrated experience managing TikTok Shop or eBay seller accounts, with verifiable results in revenue growth, account health maintenance, or operational efficiency improvements. You should have comprehensive understanding of e-commerce marketplace dynamics including search algorithm optimization, pricing strategy, and seasonal demand patterns.

Proven customer service capabilities with experience maintaining high seller ratings and resolving conflicts diplomatically are essential. You must demonstrate strong organizational abilities managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously without compromising quality or missing deadlines.

Proficiency with e-commerce tools and platforms including TikTok Shop Seller Center, eBay Seller Hub, inventory management systems, and customer service platforms is required. Excellent written communication skills in English for creating product descriptions, customer correspondence, and performance reports are non-negotiable.

Self-motivation and accountability prove critical in a remote work environment. You must work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership of results, and proactively identify and solve problems before they escalate. Attention to detail ensures listing accuracy, order fulfillment precision, and compliance with platform requirements.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

Experience specifically with UK e-commerce markets and consumer preferences provides significant advantage, as does familiarity with dropshipping operations and supplier relationship management. Prior agency experience managing accounts for multiple clients simultaneously demonstrates the multitasking capabilities this role requires.

Video content creation skills for TikTok Shop product demonstrations add substantial value, as does basic graphic design ability using Canva or similar platforms for creating listing images and promotional materials. Knowledge of UK business compliance, VAT requirements, and marketplace regulations relevant to e-commerce operations is highly beneficial.
