Graphic / Package Designer (Temporary, Contract)
Job Description
Posted on: April 14, 2026
About Us:
We’re creating the ultimate tailgating snack tray for college football fans - a unique line of foldable cardboard trays shaped like iconic NCAA stadiums, complete with built-in compartments for chips, snacks, candy, and more!
We're a startup company, and are seeking to employ an expert graphic and package designer on a temporary contract, part time basis to help us develop the initial creative strategy for how our first stadium, and all future 100+ NCAA teams, can be brought to life.
We’ve already developed CAD mockups and manufacturing templates with dielines for our initial round of stadium designs, and are seeking a masterful graphic designer or illustrator to bring it to life with production ready graphic design.
If you love college football and excel at designing scalable product lines, this is your chance to help launch an epic fan-favorite brand.
Objectives for Contracted Designer:
· Develop a bold, game-day-inspired graphic strategy that creates visually striking illustrations evoking campus tailgate energy - while identifying a scalable, repeatable style any designer can adopt for visual consistency across 100+ NCAA stadiums (different architectures, team colors, etc).
· Design production-ready graphics for the initial tray, fully integrated with folds, bleeds, and structure for premium cardboard printing.
Project Phases:1) Strategy Development
We’ll answer these key questions that define the entire product line:
a. What illustration and design style will make every stadium tray visually striking and packed with authentic game-day energy?
b. How do we build a repeatable system & style so multiple designers can deliver seamless visual consistency and feel across 100+ NCAA stadiums?
c. How can AI, optimally documented style guides, and/or templates make the entire process faster and more efficient for designers?
2) Development of Our First Stadium Design
We’ll apply the developed graphic strategy and illustration style from Phase 1 to bring our first stadium to life. With the complete CAD file and dielines already prepared, you’ll create a stunning, production-ready design that integrates perfectly with every fold and structure - delivering a premium, collectible piece fans will love.
Who We’re Looking For:
A talented Packaging Designer or Graphic Designer with strong illustration skills who thrives on creating engaging, high-impact consumer products.
You’ll be the perfect fit if you have:
· Proven experience designing for physical products - especially packaging, consumer goods, or sports memorabilia.
· A strong portfolio showing clean vector illustration, style guide development, and repeatable design systems.
· The ability to translate complex product structures (folds, dielines, compartments) into beautiful, production-ready graphics.
Bonus points if you’re a passionate college football fan - someone who gets excited by game-day energy, stadium architecture, and creating designs that make fans say “I need this!”
If you love building scalable, cohesive product lines and want to help launch something truly unique in the tailgating space, we want to hear from you.
