Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Retention Coordinator to join our Growth team and develop email and SMS marketing strategies to enhance our client’s customer retention and engagement. Reporting to the Retention Manager, this role will lead be a critical member of a fast-growing team within our agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful CRM programs for eCommerce and DTC brands - in house or at an agency.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clients and creative teams to conceptualize and develop design ideas that align with KPIs and brand identity/guidelines
- Create detailed copy and design briefs and assign directly to creative teams.
- Project manage copy and design projects from conception through client approval and deployment
- Upload creative assets and build email templates in ESPs such as Klaviyo
- Set up triggers for email and SMS automations. Build automations and implement conditional splits as needed
- Build audience segments as needed
- Write and edit email and SMS copy for flows and campaigns
- Work with the Retention Manager on reporting and client-facing plans, to keep our brands always in the know on their numbers and on our next steps
- Test/QA all email/SMS campaigns and automations, checking for copy, design, functionality, dynamic products/fields, and links
- Stay updated on email design trends and continuously innovate, bringing fresh and engaging ideas to the table
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of retention marketing experience working within Klaviyo, building email templates, working with dynamic product blocks, segmenting lists, testing + QA, and scheduling campaigns
- Experience working with SMS platforms such as Attentive and Postscript
- Experience writing and editing email copy for DTC brands
- Experience working with design tools like Figma
- Experience working with Google Sheets/Excel
- Familiarity working with/growing large audience lists for 7 and 8 figure businesses a plus
- Attention to detail - we’re sending emails to millions of people, and need to be extremely careful to avoid any mistakes
- Excellent organization skills and familiar with project management tools like Asana
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics, derive insights, and make informed recommendations
- A+ communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across clients and internal teams
- Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
- Salary: $60K-$70K
- US or Canada based working EST hours
- Remote
