Interim Head of Marketing

Interim Head of Marketing (f/m/x) - Remote in DE, DK, ES, or IT - SaaS/Greentech/Fashion - 60/80% You've done this before, stepped into a fast-paced SaaS or tech business, picked up the reins quickly, and kept the momentum going. Interim work isn't a gap filler for you, it's your zone of impact. You know that real impact isn't about how long you're there, it's about what gets done while you are. What you will do You'll join on a freelance basis working between 24 and 40 hours a week for a set period (June to February). You'll take over team management and execution of the existing marketing strategy to keep momentum in the absence of our Marketing Director who will go on maternity leave.

• Lead and manage a senior marketing team of five across brand & design, content & PR, product marketing, events, and lead acquisition
• Ensure continuity and progress of the 2025 Q3 and Q4 marketing strategies during the Marketing Directors maternity leave
• Deliver impact from day 1 by understanding the current strategy, ensuring key initiatives are executed flawlessly during the interim period
• Oversee cross-functional collaboration and keep all marketing campaigns on track, on budget, and aligned with company objectives
• Maintain brand consistency across all channels and marketing initiatives
• Prioritise ROI-driven campaigns and track performance with a focus on measurable impact
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders on campaign performance and marketing KPIs
• Support a smooth transition process with 1 month of onboarding before the current Marketing Director leaves and 1 to 2 months of handover afterwards

Who you are

• You are an experienced Interim senior marketing leader, ideally within SaaS or digital product environments
• Strong leader with a proven track record managing cross-functional marketing teams
• Skilled in brand management, strategic marketing, and aligning marketing initiatives with business goals
• Data-driven, highly organised, and able to focus on high impact, ROI led marketing
• Experienced in managing large marketing budgets and prioritising resources effectively
• Clear communicator, empathetic leader, and someone who connects with our mission
• Comfortable stepping into a transitional leadership role with confidence, clarity, and calm
• Prior experience in sustainability, fashion, or supply chain industries is a big plus
• Able to commit to a fixed-term contract:June to end of January, including 1 month of onboarding and handover
• Based in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, or Denmark, and open to occasional travel needed
