The Opportunity

Are you a social-first thinker with a passion for building vibrant online communities? Do you have the creativity to turn everyday moments into shareable, scroll-stopping content? At Hatch, we’re dedicated to helping people sleep better—and we’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator to help us bring that mission to life on social media.

This is a hands-on, highly creative, and entry-level role. From bedtime routines to wellness habits, you’ll ideate, create, and post content that inspires, informs, and entertains our community.

You’ll also manage the day-to-day content calendar for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, helping us show up consistently and creatively.

What You’ll DoMake content people actually want to watch. You’ll concept, film, edit, and publish video-first content that resonates with millennial and Gen Z audiences, with a focus on wellness, sleep, and lifestyle.

Own the content calendar. You’ll manage planning and scheduling for Hatch’s adult-facing social channels, ensuring content goes out on time and aligns with brand priorities.

Keep us on trend. You’ll identify timely trends and opportunities—and help us find smart, brand-right ways to participate.

Engage our community. You’ll help build an active, inspired community by engaging with followers and listening for what’s resonating.

Collaborate across teams. You’ll partner with brand, influencer, content, and paid media teams to ensure alignment and help bring larger campaigns to life.

This role will report to the Director of Social and Community. This person must be based in the United States or Canada. Hatch is based out of California, so this role would be asked to be available during PST/PDT hours.Who You Are

• A creative self-starter who’s comfortable being on camera and behind it.
• Passionate about social-first storytelling, especially video.
• Naturally curious about wellness, sleep, and building daily rituals.
• Hyper-organized with a love for planning, scheduling, and keeping things on track.
• Familiar with editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe, InShot) and posting natively to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
• Eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll AccomplishWithin 3 Months:

• Dive into Hatch’s brand, mission, and products—especially our Restore line.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand our social workflow.
• Take over content calendar management and begin publishing short-form video content regularly on TikTok and Instagram.
• Start shaping a visual and narrative voice for our adult-facing channels.

Within 6 Months:

• Increase video output by 20% through creative, trend-driven, and consistent publishing.
• Lead community engagement efforts—responding to comments, sparking conversation, and surfacing feedback.
• Contribute fresh content ideas that map to larger brand goals.

After 1 Year:

• You’ve helped shape the voice of Hatch’s adult brand on social.
• Your content has contributed to double-digit growth in TikTok and Instagram followers.
• You’ve helped build a thriving community centered around better sleep and smarter routines.
