About Perchang

We’re Perchang — a small but mighty independent game studio, best known for Perchang and the Warhammer Quest series. We’re currently deep into development on our next title and are looking for a talented Game Artist to help bring our world to life. Join a passionate, experienced team where your creativity and contributions truly matter.

The Role

We’re looking for a versatile and self-motivated Game Artist with Unity experience who can create, implement, and polish high-quality, game-ready assets. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and the rest of the team to develop art in a distinct low-poly papercraft style.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create stylized 3D art assets using Blender or 3ds Max, following the direction of the Creative Director.
  • Implement assets directly into Unity, taking ownership of their in-game presentation.
  • Adjust and iterate assets within the engine to meet gameplay and performance needs.
  • Produce cutscenes and incidental animations to enhance the game experience.
  • Make independent creative decisions about asset creation, implementation, and polish.
  • Collaborate closely with the team (Producer, Designers, Coders, Composer) to ensure all art aligns with the overall vision of the game.

About You

  • We welcome applications from candidates of all experience levels.
  • Skilled with industry-standard tools such as Blender, 3ds Max, and Photoshop.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 3D work in a low-poly papercraft or stylized art style.
  • Confident working independently and managing your own time and tasks.
  • Comfortable implementing assets and iterating directly in Unity.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Bonus Points

  • Unity experience (especially in asset implementation).
  • Basic animation or cutscene production skills.
  • Experience working in small teams or indie studios.
  • Familiarity with puzzle game development.
