Optomi, in partnership with a leading insurance technology company, is seeking a Jr. UX Researcher to join their growing product team. This role will focus on conducting user research to inform design and product decisions, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods to enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to collaborate in a fast-paced, user-centered environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct mixed-methods research (both qualitative and quantitative) to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Design and execute usability studies, surveys, interviews, and data analysis to support product development.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and present recommendations to product and design teams.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to advocate for the user.
  • Maintain research documentation and contribute to the development of research best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years of experience in UX research or a related field (internships and academic projects considered).
  • Experience with usability testing, surveys, and interviews, with a strong understanding of research methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
  • Proficiency in research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, Figma, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate research findings into meaningful insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level researcher looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and innovative environment. If you have a passion for understanding users and improving digital experiences, we’d love to hear from you!
