As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Head of Brand Marketing to lead the next evolution of the Native Pet brand and help shape one of the most exciting emerging brands in pet wellness.

The Role

We’re looking for a big-thinking brand builder and storyteller who knows how to create brands that people talk about.

The Head of Brand Marketing will steward the full Native Pet brand ecosystem, spanning brand strategy, integrated campaigns, organic social, PR, partnerships, creators, out-of-home, and experiential activations. This leader will play a central role in shaping how Native Pet shows up in culture, translating our mission into compelling storytelling and memorable brand moments that build lasting emotional connections with dog parents.

This role requires someone who can operate at both visionary and executional levels: developing bold brand ideas while leading teams and partners to bring them to life across channels. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of modern brand building, including how to create culturally resonant work that earns attention and drives viral conversation.

What You’ll DoBrand Strategy & Vision

  • Own and evolve the overarching brand strategy and positioning for Native Pet as the company scales.
  • Standardize brand voice and narrative across all consumer touchpoints to ensure absolute consistency.
  • Translate business priorities into a compelling brand platform that builds long-term brand equity and differentiation within the pet wellness market.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align brand initiatives with high-level company goals.

Create Big Ideas That Drive Culture and Conversation

  • Lead bold, integrated campaigns from concept to execution, spanning social, PR, OOH, and experiential channels.
  • Champion big creative ideas that drive cultural relevance, organic conversation, and brand awareness.
  • Maximize impact with lean budgets by utilizing scrappy, resourceful storytelling and sharp consumer insights.
  • Design viral-ready content and campaigns specifically engineered for shareability and buzz.

Build Community Through Creators, Partnerships & Social

  • Oversee the creator ecosystem, including influencers, tastemakers, and brand ambassadors.
  • Cultivate authentic partnerships with aligned brands to expand reach and deepen community engagement.
  • Manage organic social channels, ensuring content is culturally relevant and builds an authentic brand story.
  • Leverage community-led growth strategies to turn customers into brand advocates.

Bring the Brand to Life Through Experiences and Activations

  • Concept and lead events and activations that translate the brand into tangible, memorable experiences.
  • Develop content engines around physical events to ensure activations live on through earned media and social sharing.
  • Drive creator-led experiences and community gatherings that generate high-quality, shareable content.
  • Execute high-impact moments in creative, scrappy ways rather than relying on massive production budgets.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10–12+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within high-growth consumer brands
  • Proven ability to lead integrated brand campaigns and storytelling
  • Experience building culturally relevant brands through creators, partnerships, PR, and social
  • Strong leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong creative instincts and taste, with an intuitive understanding of what makes brands culturally relevant and shareable
