We are looking for a Senior Frontend Web Developer for a 100% remote, fixed-scope, fixed-fee contract. Recruiters and consulting companies are not welcome to submit candidates for this role. Only individual contractors are welcome to apply.

This role may require you to

• Collaborate with product designers to translate visual concepts into responsive frontend code that is optimized for mobile web and desktop web
• Collaborate with data product engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services and functionality
• Implement wireframes, high-fidelity user interface designs, and interactive prototypes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Leverage React.js, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and other frontend web development frameworks to streamline user interface implementations
• Triage, debug, and resolve frontend issues efficiently and effectively
• Participate in code reviews, user testing, and other quality assurance processes 
• Document source code, research, development plans, and development standards to enable solution modularity, reproducibility, portability, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with teammates using Figma, Notion, Slack, Google Meet, and/or other software

An ideal candidate has

• A portfolio of impressive frontend web development projects
• Demonstrated experience building custom frontends for Flask web applications
• Demonstrated experience writing modular HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Demonstrated experience working with React.js, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and other frontend web development frameworks/libraries
• Experience participating in designer-developer handoff 
• Experience using Git-based version control in a team setting
• Effective modular thinking skills evidenced by the ability to break down large, intricate undertakings into a series of smaller self-contained tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Emotional intelligence and coachability
