We’re seeking an eCommerce manager who’s ready to challenge the limits of what the DTC industry believes is possible. If you’re passionate about driving conversion rates through the roof—far beyond the so-called “great” benchmarks—and thrive on testing bold, unconventional ideas, we want to hear from you. This isn’t a role for the timid: we’re looking for a CRO powerhouse, a high-performer with relentless ambition, who can seamlessly combine strategic vision with hands-on execution.

About the Role

You’ll have the freedom to design and implement experiments across funnels, product pages, messaging—wherever you see the greatest potential for impact. No idea is too daring. We want you to shatter records, question industry norms, and set new standards of excellence.

In this role, you’ll own the performance of the website, laser-focused on optimizing the entire user journey, from landing pages to post-purchase upsells. We’re building an elite team that doesn’t just meet industry benchmarks but obliterates them, achieving unprecedented RPV, ROI, and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Website Optimization & CRO Initiatives: Own the performance of Michael Todd Beauty’s Shopify website, focusing on continuous optimization through A/B and multivariate tests, aiming to surpass KPIs. You will drive end-to-end CRO initiatives, including hypothesis generation, prioritization, execution, and post-test analysis.
  • Landing Page & Funnel Optimization: Leverage your deep expertise in landing pages and funnels (e.g.,PLPs, advertorials, listicles, etc) to craft high-impact strategies that maximize conversions through data-driven improvements, persuasive copy, and testing to support acquisition efforts.
  • Run A/B and Multivariate Tests: Continuously optimize messaging, user experiences, and funnels. Lead the creation and execution of high-impact tests across product pages, landing pages, and other key site elements.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and heatmaps to extract actionable insights, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions that drive significant conversion gains.
  • UX/UI Improvements: Apply your deep understanding of user intent, journey, and behavior to improve UI/UX across mobile and desktop experiences, ensuring site changes are optimized for both.
  • Test Design and Execution: Design and implement creative tests in Figma, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (media buyers, designers, etc.) to turn your ideas into fully optimized web experiences.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay on top of current DTC industry trends, identifying best practices and emerging strategies to create actionable, high-impact plans for our website and customer journey optimization.
  • Collaborate & Drive the Roadmap: Develop and manage an ongoing roadmap of testing initiatives, using data from web analytics and internal revenue reports to drive conversion improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on CRO and eCommerce experience, particularly with DTC brands or agencies.
  • Expert in landing page optimization and funnel management: Must have proven experience driving conversions via A/B testing, persuasive copywriting, and data-driven design changes.
  • Strong experience optimizing landing pages and conversion funnels (e.g., PDPs, Reasons Why pages).
  • CXL certification (or equivalent) is a bonus.
  • Development understanding: Experience with headless Next.js, Vercel, Builder.io CMS, HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using A/B testing tools and interpreting results for maximum impact.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, GTM, and tracking/events.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices across websites, applications, and mobile platforms.
  • Experience managing high-traffic eCommerce sites and balancing multiple projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to think big while executing tactical improvements across the user journey, from landing pages to post-purchase.
