Art Director & Senior Designer

OUR NEXT ART DIRECTOR + SNR DESIGNER: We’re looking for smart, out-of-the-box thinkers that want to challenge the status quo and disrupt an industry.

Are you an exceptionally skilled and fast-paced designer with an inherent knack for using good design to make complex things simple and easy? Do you love creating great design that impacts customer behaviour and understanding?

We are looking for a very experienced graphic designer and art director that wants to stay on the tools building all of our design elements from end-to-end. It is critical that this person can work at pace and spin many plates at once.

As our Art Director & Senior Designer, you will be responsible for all visual design across the brand. They will own the look, feel + UX design of our site, emails, ads + branding throughout the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have skills and experience in:

• Graphic design
• Art direction
• Branding design
• Website UX
• Animation
• Video editing

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for someone with a strong career in graphic design and art or creative direction. Using content and design to improve user experience and build a brand’s identity in the eyes of the customers. This role requires a highly- driven and motivated individual, capable and excited to take on a senior position in a small and agile team, having gained proven experience in the digital sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Brand design strategy
• Website content, assets, and visual design
• Website UX design
• Campaign art direction and asset creation
• Advertising assets
• Social media assets
• Email design and content
• Garment and packaging branding

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years in Graphic Design
• 4+ years in Art or Creative Direction
• Experience in UX, Animation, and Video Editing
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
• Agency or freelancing experience beneficial
• Experience leading art direction for campaigns or brands
• Shopify experience advantageous
• Familiarity with email coding platforms (e.g., Parcel.io) beneficial
• AI experience beneficial
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Basic HTML understanding helpful
