About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll be joining the Business Analysis Practice within the Product & Service Design function, helping to deliver complex change projects and ongoing digital service improvements. Working as part of a cross-functional team, you’ll analyse, design and support services that create value for both internal staff and the public. This role contributes directly to improvements in health and social care services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the investigation and analysis of business problems, identifying opportunities for service improvement
• Collaborate with designers, developers, testers, researchers, and SMEs to define and deliver impactful solutions
• Work in agile, iterative ways following GDS (Government Digital Services) guidelines
• Develop future service designs supported by strong analysis and documentation
• Deliver high-quality outputs including technical information, business cases and process mapping

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience in business analysis across business and technical contexts
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and complex service landscapes
• Proven experience in agile delivery environments and familiarity with GDS standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary team
• Ability to produce clear documentation and contribute to presentations
