XR Creative Developer

A new creative technology studio, Fun & Awe, is seeking an XR Creative Developer to join its team.

The company is a distributed, boutique-sized team working with clients worldwide.

Founded by Maxim Zhestkov, a designer and director behind Zhestkov.Studio, Media.Work, and Cosmos Interactive, the studio focuses on creating XR experiences that emphasise design, gamification, creativity, and environmental storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive XR applications optimised for the Apple Vision Pro platform using Unity and visionOS.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team of designers, artists, and developers to conceptualise and produce XR experiences.
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and seamless user experience across XR platforms.
• Develop prototypes to test XR concepts and use cases tailored to the Apple Vision Pro.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of experience in XR development with a focus on Unity.
• Proven track record of creating performance-optimised applications for AR/VR platforms.
• Experience with VR lighting techniques.
• Understanding of platform guidelines for visionOS compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of user interface design principles to create intuitive and engaging experiences.
• Experience working with ARKit or RealityKit.
• Proficiency in creating custom shaders for XR/VR applications.
