Events Coordinator (Conferences & Hackathons)

Position Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to plan and execute engaging global events for FEDTC — including conferences, webinars, coding bootcamps, and hackathons. Your job will be to create experiences that energize our members, highlight innovation, and foster collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage logistics for conferences, hackathons, workshops, and speaker panels
• Coordinate schedules, speakers, communication, and digital assets
• Collaborate with the content and video teams for promotion and coverage
• Handle event registration, attendee outreach, and feedback collection
• Partner with sponsors, schools, and tech organizations for support and exposure
• Ensure all events reflect FEDTC’s mission and high-quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience organizing virtual or in-person events
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with platforms like Zoom, Eventbrite, Whova, or Hopin
• Confidence in engaging with guests, sponsors, and tech professionals
• A love for creating memorable and meaningful community experiences
