Creative Director (UX/UI) - User Interface Design, Wireframing

Beauty brand is seeking a Creative Director for a long term, remote freelance opportunity. The ideal candidate will come from a strong digital background and be well-versed in UX/UI design principles as you will be responsible for relaunching the client's website and paid media program. Reporting into the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinate the creative direction and the creation/ repurposing of brand creative assets in partnership with the brand/creative teams and our dev agency, ensuring brand alignment at all times
• Lead the conception and creation of any design elements or visual assets needed for the successful launch of the website understanding the Shopify environment and best practices in UX design
• Extend existing visual systems/brand guidelines to the new website design
• Create layouts as needed and/or direct the creation of new layouts for the website
• Oversee the production of a new brand reel for the website landing page with a video editor
• Bring best practices in Shopify design to the forefront with a modern, dynamic feel.
• Implement same creative direction into paid ads to ensure all digital efforts are streamlined to tell a cohesive story

To Be Considered, You Must Have/be

• 5+ years of experience in digital design, website design and development
• Expert of Shopify, must understand the design and development limitations associated
• Excellent communication skills, must thrive in a fast paced and deadline driven team environment
