About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Designer / Developer to join our dynamic team on a remote basis, with occasional meetings in Bristol. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, designing and building high-quality, user-centric websites using our in-house CMS. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative flair and technical proficiency, capable of transforming concepts into visually appealing and functional websites. You will collaborate closely with clients from the initial design phase through to the final build, ensuring their vision is realized effectively. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Web Designer or UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Proficiency with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma is essential. You should have hands-on experience in front-end development, including building websites from scratch using HTML and CSS. Excellent communication skills are vital, as you will be engaging directly with clients to understand their needs and present design concepts. A good understanding of user experience principles and responsive design is also required. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for creative problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop visually compelling, user-friendly websites on the company's in-house CMS platform.
  • Translate client requirements and brand guidelines into innovative web designs that enhance user engagement.
  • Collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept and wireframing to final implementation.
  • Ensure all websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Maintain and update existing websites, implementing improvements and new features as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design and development processes.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients as required, ensuring they maximize the benefits of their websites.
