We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Data Security Crown Jewels program. This critical initiative focuses on safeguarding our most valuable and sensitive data assets with visibility to Autodesk leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving high priority cross functional security programs, project management, and stakeholder engagement. They will additionally be creative, detail oriented, and able to work seamlessly with the Senior Manager of Data Security within the Trust organization to turn the vision into an operational program.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a technical program manager capacity or similar role.
- 5+ years of practical experience working with Security teams in the capacity of defining control requirements, tracking assessment work, and managing remediation of gaps.
- Strong understanding of one or more Trust (security, privacy, resilience, responsible AI) principles.
- Basic understanding of cloud hosting, infrastructure technologies, SaaS and cloud services (e.g. AWS, Microsoft).
- Experience in providing Program Definition and Structure
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within scope.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and reporting program health, driving initiatives and facilitating the delivery of on-time results.
- Experience managing different company stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders, product managers and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the Data Security Crown Jewels program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and security standards.
- Risk Management: Work with security and product leadership to Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the protection of sensitive data assets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to drive a unified view of protection targets.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement data security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect Crown Jewels data.
- Communication and Program Measurement: Establish a reporting framework and processes to communicate key project elements including metrics and KPIs to senior management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to security use cases.
- Experience using tooling to scale programs and solutions (e.g. Jira, Atlassian, SharePoint, various GRC platforms, etc.)
- Experience in the software or technology industry.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile large-scale development environment. Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud security, data security, and threat detection/prevention technologies.
