The Opportunity:

The UK’s #1 Digital Solutions Provider seeks a talented Content Designer to support a Public Health client in updating the content of help pages for GP practices and patients within the customer system.

The Role:

• Review and update help pages to ensure clarity, accuracy, and user-friendliness.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to refine content based on feedback.
• Ensure all content aligns with Public Health communication standards and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality written content that enhances user experience and accessibility.
• Apply User-Centred Design (UCD) principles to create intuitive and effective content.
• Ensure compliance with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and best practices.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and product teams to enhance content strategy.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Content Designer, within healthcare or government projects.
• Strong ability to write clear, concise, and user-focused content.
• Experience working within structured content systems (no specific tech stack required).
• Familiarity with UCD methodologies and ability to research to inform content decisions.
• Understanding of GDS guidelines, including accessibility and plain English standards.
• Ability to manage updates efficiently within a short timeframe.
• Experience working in Agile teams, adapting to iterative feedback and changes.
