Job Title: Transmission Line Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Transmission Line Engineer with valuable civil or electrical engineering experience. This role involves detailed transmission line design, completing drawing packages, attending project meetings and calls, and leading projects to completion. You will be responsible for transmission line engineering and design on energy projects for various customers throughout the US, including transmission line and battery storage projects. - Perform detailed transmission line design.
- Complete drawing packages.
- Attend project meetings and calls.
- Lead projects to completion.
- Utilize transmission line engineering and design skills on energy projects.
- Work on transmission line and battery storage projects throughout the US.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D design.
- Experience with transmission line work at voltage levels 34.5kV up to 345kV.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) on PE path preferred.
Work Environment This position can be either in-house or remote. For remote positions, candidates must be drop-in ready. Travel to Minnesota will be required four times a year for essential meetings, with potential visits to project sites if interested. We offer a stable work environment with projects slated through 2026. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $125000.00/yr. Salaried role plus benefits including medical, dental, generous 401K contribution and generous profit sharing plan. S Salary Range Is Dependent On Qualifications Including EIT/PE Status.
