This is the ASVE AREX Super Coupe, developed over nearly two decades by automotive design legend and former Disney child actor David Stollery. For the first time, it's being offered for sale out of museum ownership.
The ASVE AREX boasts an astounding 200 mph top speed and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds. Notably, only one was ever built, serving as a showcase for what Stollery and his company, Industrial Design Research, could achieve.

- The ASVE AREX is a unique, one-off vehicle with a claimed 0–60 mph time of 3 seconds and a top speed of ~200 mph.
- It features a tubular steel spaceframe, double wishbone suspension, and disc brakes at all corners. Power comes from a Magnuson-supercharged LT1 Corvette V8, paired with a ZF 5-speed transaxle. Its futuristic styling includes butterfly doors, a fixed roof, and a fully enclosed cockpit influenced by aircraft design principles.

- In 2019, Stollery donated the AREX to the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum in Southern California, where it became a star exhibit. Due to the museum's closure, the car is set to be auctioned on April 25th.

Stollery's supercar features a space-age body designed to cut through the air efficiently, with a pointy nose and a mid-mounted engine. The car's butterfly-style doors open to reveal a luxurious interior with racing bucket seats and a well-appointed dashboard.
In 2019, after serving as a popular exhibit, the ASVE AREX is now being offered for public sale for the first time. The car is set to cross the auction block with Worldwide Auctioneers on April 25th, but currently, there is no price guide available.
