Who is Nick Branwell?
Nick's adventure began in the early 60s when he crafted his first electric guitars for his school band. After exploring various careers, including carpentry and organic gardening, he returned to his roots in music. It was only after decades of experience that he formally pursued luthiery, studying under esteemed makers to refine his skills.
Passion for the Craft
Today, Nick produces just eight guitars annually from a converted church hall in south London. The documentary not only showcases his craftsmanship but also highlights the ecosystem of musical instrument creation, connecting wood suppliers to musicians.
