Italian design firm Pininfarina has partnered with AC Future, a developer of sustainable living solutions, to unveil three innovative products at CES 2025. This marks their second consecutive year showcasing groundbreaking designs that promise to revolutionize sustainable living.
AC Future's Vision for Sustainable Homes
AC Future, based in Irvine, California, aims to ignite a revolution in sustainable living by crafting transformable homes that combine modern design, eco-conscious principles, and advanced AI technologies. Their flagship product, the AI-Transformable Home, serves as a modular solar-electric RV, developed in collaboration with Pininfarina and launched in January 2024.
The Product Lineup
At CES 2025, AC Future introduced three products based on the original AI-TH concept:
- AI-THu (AI Transformer Home Unit): A sustainable smart home with 400 square feet of living space, featuring a 40-square-foot outdoor patio. This semi-permanent home starts at $98,000 and includes AI smart home technology, solar panels, and energy storage.
- AI-THt (AI Transformer Home Trailer): A 24-foot-long transforming travel trailer that also expands to 400 square feet of living space. It offers a more spacious interior without a front driving cabin, enhancing both comfort and performance.
- AI-THd (AI Transformer Home Drivable): An intelligent, self-sufficient RV that transforms into a mobile living space. Its interior can be adapted for various uses, such as a mobile office or secondary bedroom.
Market Launch and Future Plans
AC Future plans to start taking reservations for these products, with initial deliveries expected in Q4 2026. Co-CEO Laura Czarnecki emphasized that these designs are set to address the American affordable housing crisis while providing a modern, luxurious living experience.
For those attending CES, the products can be viewed in the North Hall, Booth 10515. Reservations for all three models are now open, promising a glimpse into the future of sustainable living.
