About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated React.js Developer to join our remote team, supporting our digital transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating seamless, efficient, and innovative web applications. As a React.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interface components that enhance our online banking platform and other digital services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, analysts, and testers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with at least 2 years of application software programming experience, or
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant application development experience
- Proven experience building user interfaces with React.js
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features, TypeScript, and CSS3
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
- Familiarity with React component lifecycle and best practices
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Ability to interact with REST APIs and handle data fetching and manipulation
- Proficiency in using GitLab for version control
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Oracle Database systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in regulated financial organizations is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interface components and web applications using React.js
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices
- Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, developers, testers, and other teams to define and implement solutions
- Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) toolchain to improve automation and efficiency
- Analyze and resolve technical issues through debugging and troubleshooting
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize application performance
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and contribute to automated testing frameworks
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and facilitate knowledge sharing
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the codebase and functionalities
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team
