Product Designer

Are you ready to innovate great product experiences? Join Findex as a Product Designer! You’ll join our industry-leading agile team to help us build product experiences for the future workplace. Collaborating as part of a cross-functional sprint team, you’ll work on Continuous Product Discovery, perform User Research, and Design enterprise products founded in an understanding of real-world user insights. This position is a permanent, full-time opportunity, flexible to be based anywhere in Australia for the right candidate. What will your typical day look like? As a member of the Design team, you’ll:

• Perform user research to gather insights that will inform user-centred design decisions and drive continuous product discovery.
• Transform discovery insights into innovative product experiences by applying a well-rounded understanding of visual design theory and UX principles to craft intuitive user-centred designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate user-flows, information architectures, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to inform and validate design solutions.
• Facilitate team workshops and apply design thinking to identify opportunities and develop user-centred solutions.

Let’s talk about you!

• Proven experience in Design (Product, UX, or related), supported by a portfolio that highlights your design thinking process, problem-solving abilities, and ability to craft innovative product designs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field, with a solid understanding of design theory, principles, and practice.
• Solid understanding of the Design theory and principles, with experience translating research insights into user-centred designs that support business objectives.
• Experience using design and research tools such as Figma, Miro, Dovetail, and analytics packages.
