Job Description This role is responsible for the creation of visually engaging and didactically-sound design assets for the ecosio Academy. Collaborating closely with the ecosio Academy team, the ideal candidate will take complex, technical topics and turn them into clear, easy-to-understand visual formats — including infographics, illustrations, course visuals and partially animated explainer videos. • Creating beautiful, clean, and accessible designs that support learning and knowledge retention
• Illustrating complex ideas through custom visuals, infographics, and intuitive layouts
• Developing and producing animated explainer videos from concept to final cut
• Designing digital learning materials in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
• Collaborating with instructional designers and the Creative Lead to bring stories and visuals to life
• Working independently and flexibly in a fully remote, async-first team
• Contributing to a meaningful mission: building the visual identity of the ecosio Academy and helping people grow

QualificationsTo connect with ecosio it is important to have…

• Solid experience in graphic design, illustration, and animation
• A strong portfolio of explainer videos, infographics, B2B-illustrations or digital course assets
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects (or similar), Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and Figma
• Strong skills in visual storytelling and simplifying complex information
• A collaborative, structured, and self-driven work approach
• Fluency in English (German is a plus)

And nice to have...

• Experience working in digital learning, B2B/SaaS, or tech environments
• Familiarity with brand implementation (in a learning context)
• Understanding of instructional design principles or adult learning theory
