Position Overview Eco Battery is seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end UI/UX design of our digital products, ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing, to create user-centered designs that align with both user needs and business objectives. This contract position is expected to last approximately 30 to 60 days, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from conceptualization to execution, balancing user needs with business goals.
• Conduct user research, develop personas, and map out user journeys to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive visual design system aligned with Eco Battery’s brand identity.
• Utilize user feedback and usability testing to refine designs and improve functionality.
• Ensure consistency across all design elements, including color schemes, typography, layout, and imagery.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to bring design concepts to life.
• Clearly communicate design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous innovation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with expertise in both UI/UX and visual design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a blend of user experience problem-solving and visually impactful design.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in developing digital graphics, illustrations, and other visual assets.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React Native, Angular) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A passion for sustainability and eco-friendly practices is a plus.
