Static Visual Designer

Dossier is on a mission to redefine the way people shop perfumes by providing clean, ethical, high-quality versions of iconic perfumes at fair prices.

We are a relatively young company which has grown exponentially in the last few years.

We are seeking a talented Static Designer with a strong background in photo manipulation and/ or illustration to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to create compelling static visuals for digital and print media. This role requires a combination of technical skills, artistic creativity, and an ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Candidate requirements:

• Education: Higher Education (in a design/artistic related domain is a plus)
• Experience: 3-5 years minimum
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe suite, Figma, illustration software)
• Language Skills: English - professional level (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills (Optional)

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
• Strong expertise in photo manipulation, retouching, and compositing techniques.
• Exceptional illustration skills, both digital and traditional (vector and raster-based).
• A strong grasp of typography, composition, and color theory.
• Experience in creating high-quality visuals optimised for web and print.
• Knowledge of file formats, resolutions, and best practices for digital and print design. Understanding of branding principles and ability to apply them effectively to designs.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics tools (such as After Effects) is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Develop visually striking static assets for marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital or print mediums.

• Expertly manipulate images to enhance quality, create composites, or develop new visual content.

• Design custom illustrations that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

• Ensure consistency in design elements across different platforms and campaigns.

• Stay updated with industry trends, new design tools, and emerging technologies.

• Optimise images and illustrations for different formats, ensuring high-quality output without compromising performance.

• Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of creativity and accuracy.
