Front-End Web Developer - Remote opportunity!

Dice.com is assisting our Software Client with their search for a Front-End Web Developer to join our client’s growing team developing a wed-based platform to help home builders run their businesses more efficiently. This is a contract-to-hire remote / work from home opportunity!

This is an exciting opportunity to help reshape the industry with a simple and intuitive UI that seamlessly integrates scheduling, budgeting, accounting, CRM, and various other processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development skills and will work directly with the UX and backend development teams skinning / converting wireframes into interactive UI’s.

Responsibilities:

• UI Development: Design and develop visually appealing, responsive, and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Dynamic Content: Utilize Ajax to enhance the user experience by enabling seamless data retrieval and dynamic content updates.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and project managers to ensure the implementation aligns with overall project goals.
• Performance Optimization: Implement best practices to optimize website performance and ensure a smooth, user-friendly experience.
• Code Maintenance: Maintain and improve existing web applications, ensuring code quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
• ASP.NET: Not required, but big plus to understand the server-side framework. You will be integrating interactive front-end components with ASP.NET applications using MVC architecture and Razor view engine.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of front-end development experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Bootstrap for responsive design.
• Solid understanding of Ajax for creating dynamic web applications.
• Proven ability to create clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing on an ASP.NET MVC.
• Familiarity with the Razor view engine for dynamic web page generation.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks or libraries is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
