Industrial Designer - Table Top

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Designer to create 3D renderings and models for innovative and functional products across multiple categories, including tabletop, ceramics, home décor, novelty, and pet products. This role requires a keen eye for design, ensuring all products are on-trend, manufacturable, and aligned with Product Development needs.

The ideal candidate will also support the design team by developing production art, tech packs, and design resources, while mentoring junior designers and collaborating with manufacturing partners to ensure high-quality production.

Product Design & Development:

• Design and develop products across tabletop, ceramics, home décor, novelty, and pet categories.
• Create detailed concept renderings, 3D models, and prototypes to bring ideas to life.
• Ensure all designs are functional, manufacturable, and aligned with material constraints.
• Develop technical drawings, CAD models, and spec sheets for manufacturing partners.
• Work with overseas factories to refine designs and maintain production quality.
• Develop packaging solutions that balance aesthetics and functionality.
• Occasionally assist in licensed product development, ensuring brand alignment.

Process & Team Support:

• Prepare detailed design specifications, product mock-ups, and prototypes for review.
• Develop production templates for complex product formats.
• Assist in organizing design resources and improving team workflows.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate with factories, suppliers, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.

Software & Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in 3D modeling software such as Rhino, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for concept and packaging design.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques for hard goods and relevant product formats.

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Work closely with Product Development Leads to conceptualize and refine product collections.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing technical and creative support.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and competitive shopping days to stay ahead of trends.
• Maintain clear communication with managers regarding project priorities and workload.
